Making Sense of the Election & Staying Well

October 28, 2024

Elections are stressful and confusing. Join the UC Merced Library, Political Science department, and Health Promotion for “Making Sense of the Election & Staying Well” on Wednesday, October 30th 3:30-4:30pm in KL 232.

This panel, followed by a Q&A, highlights faculty research that can help us make sense of the current political environment. It will provide strategies for managing stress and coping with emotions, evaluating political rhetoric, navigating puzzling polarization, and sifting through the information landscape. Panelists include UC Merced Political Science professors Christopher Ojeda, Anil Menon, and Matthew Hibbing, and UC Merced Library's Bronwen K. Maxson.

Pizza and beverages are sponsored by UC Merced's Center for Analytic & Political Engagement (CAPE).
