Whose critique matters? The effects of critic identity and audience on public opinion

Congratulations to UC Merced political science assistant professor Anil Menon and co-authors Yehonatan Abramson and Abir Gitlin on the publication of their new article Whose critique matters? The effects of critic identity and audience on public opinion in American Journal of Political Science.  This piece won the 2023 APSA Best Paper in the Human Rights Section award and provides a fascinating look at the public reception of criticism made by diaspora populations.
