FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — With less than 2 weeks before election day, the race for the White House remains neck-and-neck.
The headlines coming from the campaigns of Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump show no signs of slowing down.
FOX26 Great Day Anchor Kim Stephens talked to UC Merced Professor of Political Science Dr. Nathan Monroe, Ph.D. to help us make sense of things.
He says that although we are not a swing state, it's still important to get out and vote.
He says the second big reason is that the popular vote is a symbol that may impact the president's policies.
We'll be reaching out to Dr. Monroe a couple more times, including on election day and the morning after.
He'll help us navigate this historic election season.
