UC Merced Assistant Professor Christopher Ojeda recently guested on Grief Journeys, a Philadelphia based G-Town radio program that focuses on stories of grief and loss. Professor Ojeda studies how citizens think about and engage with politics, with an interest in how poverty and mental health shape citizen engagement. His current book project — The Sad Citizen — explores how contemporary democratic politics makes citizens feel depressed. The book is now available for pre-order here.
The Philadelphia Inquirer published an article about Ojeda's forthcoming book and the podcast episode which can be found here.
