Provins wins Mooney Dissertation Award

Recent PhD graduate Tessa Provins (now an assistant professor of Political Science at the University of Pittsburgh) has been awarded the Christopher Mooney Dissertation Award for her thesis "The Value of Legislative Design: A Comparative Analysis of State Legislative Institutions".

This year's award committee of Tracy Osborn, Antoine Yoshinaka, and Bob Lowry selected Tessa's as the best dissertation in American State Politics and Policy completed during the previous calendar year. Congratulations to Tessa and to her committee, Professors Nathan Monroe (Chair), Jessica Trounstine, Brad LeVeck, and David Fortunato (TAMU).
