Celebrations are in order as Professors Aditya Dasgupta and Alexander Theodoridis both recently won section awards from the American Political Science Association (APSA)!

Prof. Dasgupta's paper "Technological Change and Political Turnover: The Democratizing Effects of the Green Revolution in India" (American Political Science Review, 2018), was recognized as the "Best Article" focusing on democratization and/or the development and dynamics of democracy and authoritarianism, published in print in 2018.

Prof. Theodoridis' paper "God, Sex, and Especially Politics: Disentangling the Dimensions of Discrimination" was recognized as the "Best Paper" delivered at an Elections, Public Opinion and Voting Behavior panel at APSA 2018.
