Research Interests:
I am a visiting PhD student in the Politics department at UC Santa Cruz. My research explores the communicative strategies that political organizations adopt to mobilize Americans over social media. I am particularly interested in understanding how this functions at the local level; and use the case of online organizers and their audiences in the Central Valley to examine the influence that online-based community organizations exert in shaping a region's political participation.
